Low Country Rebel features standout tracks like "Runnin' From You," "Everitt Rd.," and "Later Gator." Garrett Kirk blends Southern rock, outlaw country, and Americana with raw, expressive vocals and rugged guitars, with subtle atmospheric touches. It is a record that hits hard, feels real, and stays true to Southern roots.

Garrett Kirk is a Texas-born musician blending Southern rock, outlaw country, and Americana. He picked up a guitar so long ago he can’t remember a time without one, drawing on legends like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and the Allman Brothers.
His music comes from real life — the backroads, the woods, nights around a fire, or even a stint behind bars. Garrett writes songs drawn directly from his experiences, giving listeners an unfiltered look at his life. On stage or in the studio, his songs carry grit, honesty, and that unmistakable Southern swagger, shaped by years of experience and hard-earned lessons along the way.
Garrett has performed at Texas venues including Shiner Brewery and SeaWorld San Antonio, shared the stage with Riggin Skogberg, Marcy Grace, Stephen Martin, Logan Ryan, and many more. He’s a seasoned studio guitarist and vocalist, recording with Batcave Records, Black Light Studios, and contributing across country and hip-hop — including guitar and vocals on tracks with Joe Weed and Levi Dry, as well as work with Bubba Sparxxx and GT Garza.
He appears in the music video “We Are Change” by I Am Cricchi, rocking out while dirtbikes did backflips overhead — a glimpse of his raw, fearless energy.
Garrett has released albums like Low Country Rebel and The Stardust Album, with standout tracks including Runnin’ From You, Later Gator, and Hold Me Close, showcasing his Southern rock edge and storytelling. Beyond music, he is active in supporting mental health projects, helping others navigate their challenges through awareness and action. His music is raw, real, and rooted in the freedom of the road, the woods, and the life he’s fought to live on his own terms.

I always have one of these laying around — it’s just one of those baits that stays tied on. The Everitt is a custom lipless crankbait from Peak Baits with my name on it, and I’m proud to be part of it.
It’s a modern take on the classic Rat-L-Trap — loud, tight-wobbling, and built to get crushed. Whether you’re burning it across flats or ripping it through cover, it flat-out catches fish. And the hooks? Dangerously sharp. No joke.
This is the same bait my son just used to land a solid one, and it’s named after my new song “Everitt Rd,” dropping May 27 — a connection between the music and the outdoors that means a lot to me.
Built to fish. Backed by a story.
